Is it normal to have pain in sex 6 months after birth?

I did tear a bit, but im a little worried that it still hurts during sex. When I first got my period it really hurt to put in a tampon but now it doesnt hurt at all, so im thinking it must be getting better. Anyone had a similar situation?

if it hurts then you should see a dr because it should've completely healed by now , just like a scar on any other part of your body shouldn't hurt
use a lubricant to avoid friction the first time after a very long time
