Question by Brandie: Am I the only person who still feels weird talking to mom about sex?

I am 23 yrs old. I have a child, so I have proof I had sex at least once. My mom and I are really close. I had a upsetting vday and I was talking to her about it. I bought lingerie and stuff for my bf and I. To make a long story short he did not get to see it. It took me 15 min just to say I bought lingerie. Am I the only adult still afraid to talk to mom about sex?

No you are not. I am 27. I have avoided every conversation regarding sex. We are very close as well. The annoying part is she has no problem talking with me about HER sex life. Ughhh!! I still plug my ears and say "la la la la". Sorry mom, i don't want to hear about your sex life.
