Question by nicrome: what's the best way to prevent an 8yr old kid from accessing bad webistes?

my nephew is 8 yrs old, and recently i found out that he has tried to go on websites like sex.com.
any way that i can prevent him from doing so?
it's a shared home computer, and he has his own user account.
oh well... the sinfulness of mankind... :)
